Income tax

Income tax is levied on an individual's income. It is calculated by subtracting income deductions from the entire income earned in one year and applying a tax rate to the remaining amount. Income tax is paid based on a reporting and payment system by which the taxpayer (who best knows his/her own income circumstances) calculates the tax and pays the tax according to the tax laws.
