The main building houses a display area where more than 30 varieties of orchids are kept for the visitors' pleasure.   Thousands of flowers are grown in green houses next to the main building and research is underway in the laboratory to produce a variety of orchid unique to Mukaishima.   The Mukaishima Orchid Center also boasts a vast, beautiful lawn, where visitors can relax while savoring one of the café's delicious drinks.
