Mt. Takami is the highest mountain of Mukaishima island and, as its name implies, the view from the
peak (283 m) is excellent. An observation platform was built in near the peak in 2000.
From the observation platform, it is possible to gaze upon the Innoshima Bridge, part of the Shimanami Sea Roads
as well as the Ikuchi Bridge and the other surrounding islands.
