MAIN > Tourist Spots > Shimanami Koryu-kan See the Teatro Shell-rune at night by placing your cursor over the picture above.   Teatro Shell-rune (Shimanami Koryu-kan) was designed to allow people from all over to meet in Onomichi. It is the white, shell-shaped building on your right as you go out the JR Onomichi Station through the south exit. It opened on May 1st, 1995, and its main area is a 690-seat hall.   As you enter the building on the first floor, there is a tourist information counter and a store selling souvenirs of the Shimanami Kaido. On the second floor, three meeting rooms of various sizes can accommodate the needs of businesses and groups.
