Beating drums, both large and small, or playing flutes, dancers wearing
comical masks and colorful costumes march throughout the city's streets, shouting "iya-eh" and "sora-eh." The Kinosho Kane Taiko Dance
is an offering to the gods of the Heitaka Shrine and has been designated as an Intangible Folklore Cultural Property by the prefecture of Hiroshima.
